On the painting front, the residential master painter of the year title went to the colourful Bob Anderson and his company Side Show Bob’s painting ltd in Taumaranui, for a portfolio of work on three family and holiday houses in Central New Zealand.

Judge Brian Miller said the firm’s work was consistently ranked among the best in the country.
